My name is Kay Wood (MAR) After 25 years of working in the commercial world I turned to alternative therapy to help me with work related stress and the menopause. The impact was incredible & I soon realised I wanted to be practising in what had worked for me. My passion took me firstly to Reiki then Reflexology. I have worked with many stroke patients, clients with debilitating migraines, circulation problems, stress, sleep problems & more recently I have developed an understanding of sports reflexology and how to help relieve sports injury.
If you would like to understand how these treatments may work for you, please feel free to contact me and have a chat or pop in for a cuppa!

Why the Botanical Therapist?
I believe in the healing power of plants and include botanicals subtly in my treatments, through the use of botanical balms and teas. I am building a garden therapy room that I hope to have complete in the next year, this will become my botanical haven!
The Botanical Therapist website is where I share informational blogs, holistic lifestyle tips and my journey of being a practising holistic therapist in the modern world.
Quite simply, when our body, mind, and spirit are in balance, we experience good health. In order to live a quality life, maintaining optimal wellness is key. Everything we feel and do relates to our wellbeing and directly affects our actions, body reactions and emotions. In order to reduce stress, avoid illness & dis-'ease' it is important to ensure we can take a positive outlook on life and aim to achieve optimal wellness. Complementary therapies take a holistic approach to your physical and mental health. For me, the results I have seen practising Reiki and Reflexology fill me with confidence that they can have a huge impact for those who are committed in taking the necessary steps towards healing their minds and bodies.
Fantastic treatments, helped my sleep problem and allowed my husband to be able to put his left foot flat on the floor for the first time since his stroke 18 years ago! We are both converted to reflexology. Extremely relaxing, thanks Kay.
